Who We Are
Growing up on San Juan and Lopez Island, I developed a connection to the land and a love for the excavation industry largely due to my father who was a gifted operator. After serving in two different branches of the military, attending the apprenticeship program for the International Union of Operating Engineers, and having a successful corporate career, I returned to the San Juans in 2019 to focus on using my excavation skills in a meaningful and impactful way. Since starting the business, I have delivered a long list of successful projects of all types and sizes on Decatur Island as D Rock Industries and now on San Juan as Dirty Werks. With formal training and real-world experience in excavation and grading, I am committed to providing exceptional service to each and every one of my clients and serving the greater San Juan area. I offer a wide range of services, from site preparation to utility installation, driveways, heavy landscape, vegetation management, and much more.
